Ventilative and See-Through

The concept is petals in the air which represent the beauty of opera. The object materialized the transparency and ventilation of stainless steel. Four petals are made with NEUES Titanium Gold color on perforated thin stainless steel sheet, 0.3 x 1000x1700mm. It was set up at an opera hall in 1993. Petals rotates with air circulation and looks like floating in the air.

Three blossoms show the beauty of Japanese art at the hall of Narita International Airport. This was a series of “Kashinfu” released in 1993 and created as bigger size. It was perforated with photo etching method, a diameter of 1mm, 2 million holes on the thin stainless sheet, 0.4x 1219x2800mm. Each color is NEUES Titanium Gold, Nickel Silver and Misty Blue.
